Right after the perfect start-up the 6.6m wide BOPP line had high-value tobacco film on the winder. Due to the smooth and continuous production ever since, several acceptance runs were successfully completed in the shortest time possible.
 
The project was very challenging because of Shiner’s highly sophisticated demands regarding the optical film properties. With some unique technical features the Brückner line is able to achieve outstanding haze and gloss parameters, to the complete satisfaction of Shiner and their customers.
 
Last October, Shiner signed a strategy alliance agreement with The Treofan Group, Germany and Alliance Packaging, Hong Kong. The three companies consider this partnership an important first step towards creating an integrated high-end global packaging film platform capable of serving global customers with a local footprint in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Europe.
